Free Parking in New Haven: Hybrid vehicles registered in New Haven are entitled to free parking at metered spots throughout the city. Vehicle owners must buy a decal to qualify for the incentive. *Vehicles still remain subject to time restrictions*

Hybrid Municipality Property Tax Abatement *bill*: SB318/SB980/HB5921 would give Municipalities the right to abate property taxes for hybrids and AFVs. (The amounts would be determined by the local legislative body).

State Hybrid HOV *bill*: HB5782/HB5281 Would amend the statutes to allow hybrids to use the HOV lanes regardless of number of passengers.
